Bush Plum Green Australian Aboriginal fabric by Polly Wheeler is a delightful design showing the inside of a Bush Plum when it is cut open, printed in shades of grey and burgundy with black on a light green background. The Australian Aboriginal fabric is printed on 100 % soft hand cotton and is 42" wide. It is ideally suited for quilting, garments, home decor and fabric crafts.
The Bush Plum is a vital food source for the Aboriginal people and is frequently featured in the women's dreaming stories. The fruits are harvested by shaking the trees until they fall to the ground. They need to be soaked in water to soften and plump for eating.

This is a beautiful high quality cotton fabric. I have not had a chance to sit down and use it to complete my project yet. The shipping was awesome.
