Washing Hand Dyed Cotton
All fabrics have been dyed with non-toxic fabric reactive dyes and have been rinsed and washed numerous times. No need to prewash or set with vinegar.
Machine was cold or warm with similar colors, warm dryer is ok. Remove from dryer promptly. Warm or hot iron if necessary. NO BLEACH!!!
If you fear bleeding, set in bucket of luke warm water overnight, repeat until water remains clear.
Reds and any colors that contain red: will probably continue bleeding, red dye particles are really big atoms and don't like to adhere. Use color catchers when washing a quilt or garment that has red-based colors combined with other colors.
