Bush Onion Dreaming Black Australian Aboriginal fabric is an attractively patterned 100 % cotton fabric in black and white with a small red stripe running through it. The Australian Aboriginal fabric has a very soft hand and is ideally suited for quilting, garments, home decor and other fabric crafts. It is 42" wide, with a repeat of 23 3/4"
Bush Onions grow on creek beds. Then the leaves of the plant dry out, Aboriginal people dig up the bush onion bulbs and eat them. The can be eaten raw (hard) or cooked (soft).
Jean Hudson learned painting from her mother. Her dreaming is fire dreaming and bush onion dreaming.
