Geographically, a dune is a hill of sand built by wind action that results in ripples of many different shapes and sizes. In Central Australia, there are many beautiful sand hills which provide a habitat for highly specialized forms of flora and fauna. Using white dots on a black background, Anna portrays the effect of wind moving over the sand hills in the desert landscape near her hometown Utopia.

Beautiful in every way...

...the drape, the feel, the look - everything about this fabric is beautiful. I realize that many people are quilting with these fabrics, but I have used my Fabrilish purchases to make several summer-weight dresses. These smooth cotton prints would work for any light-weight dress, top, or accessory that requires a woven fabric. This print was my first purchase from Fabrilish and I was so happy with the quality that I have ordered several other 3-4 yard cuts. I ordered this particular fabric in red as well.
