Why “Dandenong”?
The Dandenong Ranges are a low mountain range near Melbourne, Australia, home to a cool temperate rainforest bursting with flowers and wildlife. I spent a week there in 2013 and fell in love with the flowers in every color of the rainbow, and of course, the parrots. This quilt is my love letter to that place.
