Desert Flora purple Australian Aboriginal fabric by Roseanne Ellis for M&S Textiles is a striking design in vibrant shades of hot pink and purples on a black background.

The Australian Aboriginal fabric is printed on 100 % soft hand cotton that is 42" wide. The repeat is 2" vertically (running along the selvedge) by 6" horizontally (going across from selvedge to selvedge). It is ideally suited for quilting, garments, home decor and other fabric crafts. 

 Roseanne was born in Katherine. She has lived and worked at Santa Theresa and Amoonguna in Central Australia. 

Her father, Michael Nelson Jakamarra, is a well known Papunya artist, and she stayed with him in that community at holiday times. She watched him paint and learned, as he guided her and showed her what Dreaming to paint. Then, together with her sister Marie, they initiated the Art Centre at Amoonguna, and continued their involvement in working there and developing the Centre
