About Fabrilish

Fabrilish was born ca 2009 when Gabriele started dabbling with hand dyeing cotton fabrics for sheer fun. After experimenting with it for a year or so, she started selling her wares to fellow quilters in her area, the beautiful Panhandle of Florida.

2013 was the first year she traveled to quilt shows all over the Eastern US, expanding her offerings to hand dyed cottons, silks, rayons and linens. She added Australian Aboriginal Fabrics shortly after and rounded off the offerings with Batiks by Robert Kaufmann.

In 2020, the pandemic brought her traveling life to an abrupt halt: At the Original Sewing and Quilt show in Atlanta we received an email to pack up and go home, and don't come back.

Having nothing but time on her hands (and lots of cut-up fabric to sell), she finally designed this website, and the rest is history! In 2021 she relocated to the Gainesville, FL area - the website store is open by appointment, if you are in the area give her a call and swing by!
