Australian Aboriginal Fabric was carefully selected to create this wonderful kit, using Villa Rosa Design's Discovery Pattern. The large pieces cut from the Australian Aboriginal Fabrics showcase them so they SHINE! This kit makes a beautiful 44"x62" quilt. 

Included are 6 Fat Quarters as well as 1 3/4 yards for borders and binding, all from Australian Aboriginal fabrics with its fantastic designs and colors. The postcard pattern Discovery is also part of the kit. 

Construction is super-easy, great for beginning quilters. Approximate time needed to finish the quilt top is 4 hours. This time does not include quilting and binding, of course

I made this commemorative quilt for Garrett, 10 in honor of his visit to Australia with his mom when he was 5 maybe. Wasn’t sure how he’d like it but he LOVED it. When I finally get to visit I promised to help him embroider his name and the date on it with glow in the dark thread.
