Fresh Life After Rain, black -Australian Aboriginal fabric - designed by Christine Doolan
Fresh Life After Rain is the depiction of the sudden stirring of plant life after a rare rain in the semi-desert area in Central Australia. The original designation of the fabric is black, but it has nice blues and tans in it, too. The Australian Aboriginal fabric is printed on 100 % soft hand cotton that is 42" wide. It is ideally suited for quilting, garments, home decor and other fabric crafts.
Central Australia is a semi desert area. Rain fall in this area is very rare. Vegetation’s are not plenty. However, after several months of dry weather, sometimes Alice Springs get good rainfall. Suddenly area starts blooming with Australian wild flower almost everywhere. The whole territory gets a new life. Visitors are greeted with amazing array of colors of yellow, purple, red green and much more. Christine is a good artist. She belongs to the famous Doolan family. Her art is bold and neat.
