Bush Onions and Wild Flowers Purple - Designed by Jane Doolan

In winter, after rains, new flowers become abundant. Wild bush onions have small bulbs, long slender green leaves and a pungent onion flavor. The best time to dig them up is April/May. They are an important food for the Kimberly Aboriginal people.
